Weir Quay is a traditional boatyard, established in the 1960s, situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the River Tamar in South West Devon, 6 miles upstream from the Plymouth Sound.
The boatyard has over a hundred deep-water swinging moorings suitable for cruising yachts of up to 20 tons. Competitive all-inclusive annual deepwater mooring/storage package (http://www.weir-quay.com/content/annual-deepwater-mooring-package) is approx. half the price of marinas. A berthing pontoon with water and electricity is available for picking up crew and gear. All mooring customers have free use of luxury showerblock, free parking and wi-fi. There is a well-stocked Chandlery and we offer a Brokerage for our mooring customers.
The Yard employs a team of shipwrights, GRP fabricators, joiners, craftsmen and marine engineers, who together offer a complete professional service for customers’ yachts, including winter lay-up, maintenance and repairs, plumbing and engine servicing.
Visitors are also welcome to Weir Quay and particularly appreciate our Special Hull Clean, Check and Maintenance Offer which is extremely good value.
